Hi, so glad you're back!
There’s nothing better that reading a good book, but
with my optic nerve damage, I had to learn some tricks. Have
you been to the library lately? They have large print that’ll
make reading a breeze! Make sure you are seated most comfortably.
Get some water if you like. Get ready to relax, let yourself
get lost, disconnect the phone, give your self permission
to disconnect everything! Got a favorite? Feel free to share
it with us. |

Keeping
Yourself Educated
By Darcy
It is important to keep yourself educated on Multiple Sclerosis, knowledge
is, after all, power. If you’ve had a positive diagnosis of Multiple
Sclerosis there is no denying the truth. It “is what it is.”
Now face your situation armed with as much information as you can get
your hands on! I certainly haven’t read all there is, but choose
from this selection I’ve put together, or let me hear from you.
Share your people-friendly books on this condition with us. I’m
not talking about the stuff for Doctors, just folk like you ‘n me!

Have you tried Books on tape? It’s just
the greatest way to absorb the content without reading a page! You
can even buy these second hand, and sometimes the story is even
read in the author’s voice. I have enjoyed many a classic,
this way. How ‘bout you? Let me know if this has helped... |
For folks with Multiple Sclerosis,
reading can take them to a world outside themselves or deeper into
this world |
